Graphic Design: Marketing collateral and brand development for GeekCause

GeekCause, an initiative that pairs tech volunteers with nonprofits in need of their skills, joined Hands On Nashville in late 2018. GeekCause came to us with its own logo, so wanted to make strides toward marrying HON’s existing branding with the GeekCause logo in a way that would elevate both.

Printed collateral

I developed the copy and design for a suite of printed materials for GeekCause’s unique audience (clockwise from top left): Nonprofits who are interested in learning more about how GeekCause can help them, skilled tech volunteers who are looking for a way to use their skills to give back to the community, and funders looking for partnership options and impact information.

When GeekCause celebrated its first birthday as part of HON, we wanted to show its impact in a visual way. We found that a by-the-numbers approach paired with a couple of testimonial quotes could give a pretty well-rounded view of the good work being done.
